Loop Structure & Timeline
Capital One runs one onsite, and it is dense: a four-round Power Day that packs coding, system design, a case study, and behavioral into a single roughly four-and-a-half-hour block. Because the round types are so varied, generic prep does not cover you, and this guide maps each slot so you can prepare for exactly what shows up.
The standard pipeline moves in four steps:

Some candidates report being asked to interview again with hiring managers during team match even after Power Day approval; this is informal vetting, not a re-evaluation, so treat it as a fit conversation rather than a new bar.
Intern and TDP (Technical Development Program, new-grad) pipelines compress everything into a single Super Day of three 60-minute rounds (code-reading, simple coding, behavioral) and skip the case study. Their bar is noticeably lower than the full-time SDE bar.
